I don't smoke, but it seems easy to me. Put that nicotine stick in your trap and puff away. What's the struggle? I mean, even teenagers can do it...

Do you mean struggling to quit? Ohhhhhhhhh! That's different...brother you know I gotchyo back! You're on my "list" for this evening!!

btw- I could use general strength in the LORD prayer. Allow HIM to lead me in all my words, actions, etc.

Thanks!!

Brother I can honestly say, I know what you're going through. I quit from four packs a day habit. I admire your courage and strength. Don't make it convienent to smoke. Don't but cartons, better yet don't buy packs either. If you must buy a pack don't keep the pack near you. What I mean is don't take the pack in the car. if you do need to smoke only take a puff or two just to kill the desire, that way you are reducing the nicotine you take in. I remember saying to myself each time I smoked was something to the effect "I am really enjoying not smoking or I am not really enjoying smoking", power of positive suggestion. People might think you are weird smoking and saying that you are enjoying not smoking, oh well. That will be short lived.
I will continue to pray for you and others who are also trying to quit the habit. I'll echo Jims reply...One of the toughest addictions in History.
But Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
I believe yoou can do it.
