How to help?

Christina and I have a freind, she has a little girl Adams age, so we see them frequently, if not daily.
Our problem is this: This young lady has an addiction, we try to influence her and councel her, we offer support when she needs it, but nothing seems to help!
She spent a few hours with us today and as soon as we returned home she was gone, her cravings full force!
Christina tried to get her to stay home, talking wasn't the solution she needed.
The worst part of it is, she took her daughter with her, Christina offered to keep her, to the point of begging, but her mind was fixed on her craving.
2 things,
1. Please Pray for the safety of Alexis, (the child)
2. Please pray for Leeann her mom.

Love ya

If she is placing the child at risk, you need to get her into a rehab situation as soon as possible. You may save both her and her daughter's lives. I will pray that God will lead all of you in your choices. God bless you.

more on this,
She has just gotten out of rehab, the only thing is, that she could
only stay for ten days, thats all her insurance would cover.
She also is on probation for two years and sometime this week she will probably have a drug test, which she will fail!
Her P.O. will not be leniant, and if they can find her( she still hasn't shown up from last night)
she will probably be sentance to a minimun of 120 days.

ONOM! I probably know this situation better than most of your other readers and I am clueless as to what to do (other than some intense prayer) to help them. I do know that God can work good out of everything (Rom. 8:28) and we need to keep this held up. Be ready to do whatever it takes to help especially with Alexis and call on US to help if we can. BBT

I agree with Swinging Sammy, the child is at risk and need to place in a safe environment. When Leeann is getting high or drunk or whatever, who is taking care of Alexia. It would be great to have Denise witness to Leeann. She would be a great witness to her. Leeann needs Jesus! Leeann needs some tough love. Let me know how I can help.
